Patrick Dodd
President, ACNielsen Europe


Patrick Dodd serves as President of the European division of ACNielsen, the world’s largest marketing information provider.  In this position he is responsible for businesses that provide measurement and analysis of marketplace dynamics and consumer attitudes and behavior in 19 markets, including Germany, UK, France, Italy and Spain.

Prior to his current position, Pat served as Group Managing Director, ACNielsen Central Europe. Before joining the European management team, he served as President of ACNielsen Canada, during which time he was also responsible for ACNielsen’s North American marketing strategy.

Pat joined ACNielsen in 1990 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Client Service, New Business Development, Marketing and Client Service Management. Prior to joining ACNielsen, Dodd held sales positions with a major Canadian-based food manufacturer.

He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and in 2003 he was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.

Pat holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
