Bienvenido (Nonoy) C. Niles, Jr.Bienvenido (Nonoy) Niles serves as President of the Asia, Pacific & India division of The Nielsen Company, the world’s largest marketing information provider, a position he has held since December 2003. In this role he is responsible for overall management, business performance and strategic direction of Nielsen in the Asia, Pacific & India region that includes Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, India, ASEAN and several other South Asian markets. In this capacity he also serves as the leader of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee. He is based in Hong Kong.
Prior to his current position, Nonoy served as Chief Client Service Officer, Asia Pacific and was concurrently the Managing Director of Southeast Asia. He joined Nielsen in 1994 as Managing Director, Philippines.
Before joining ACNielsen, he managed the Regional Market Research activities of Procter and Gamble’s Asia Pacific Division.
Over a 30-year career, Nonoy has become one of the most respected market research practitioners in Asia. He is a former President of the Marketing and Opinion Research Society of the Philippines (MORES) and an Agora Awardee for Regional Marketing Excellence. He has participated in many research seminars organized by MORES, the Philippine Marketing Association, the AD Congress & ESOMAR either as a speaker or resource expert. Nonoy earned an honors degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University in Manila, Philippines.
