Akash has led Nielsen’s Consumer Insights business in Africa and Middle East since April 2013.
Akash has more than 18 years of experience in market research and has been with Nielsen for the last 10 years, serving in various capacities, starting as the Regional Client Director for one of the largest consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies in the Middle East. Before assuming his current role, he managed the Consumer Insights (CI) business for Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan.
Akash is part of the regional leadership team that is responsible for driving the overall strategy for Nielsen.
Akash specializes in consumer behavior and strategy and has a Master’s degree in international business.
