Prashant Singh is Managing Director for Nielsen India region. He leads our Retail Measurement Services and Analytic Consulting along with heading our businesses in the sub-region including Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. He also leads Media, which spans television, print, online, telecom and the Indian Readership Survey (IRS), which measures readership of newspapers and magazines, as well as the consumption of other media.
In over 13-years of his career with Nielsen, Prashant has led multiple businesses across measurement, insights and client service. Before moving to Mumbai for his current role, Prashant was Vice President, Nielsen Delhi, where he focused on talent development and revenue growth.
With expertise ranging from rural Indian consumer insights to social media and smartphone analytics, Prashant is a frequent speaker at various marketing events and believes that teaching is the best form of learning.
