Anam Mahmud is Managing Director for Nielsen Bangladesh. He assumed this role in April 2012 and holds strategic and operational responsibility for driving growth, productivity and profitability at Nielsen Bangladesh.
Prior to this role, he was Executive Director, Client Leader for FMCG and Tobacco clients in Nielsen Bangladesh, overseeing both the Retail Measurement Services and Consumer Insight requirements. Anam joined Nielsen Bangladesh in July 2001 and headed the Retail Measurement Services (RMS) in the country from 2002 to 2009.
He holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka and also has an MSC in Economics from Jahangirnagar University.
