Arslan heads up Nielsen in Arabian Peninsula (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait). Arslan assumed this role in November 2013, and his key responsibilities include developing the strategic vision for the Nielsen’s business in region and working with teams to implement this vision to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
Arslan’s career with Nielsen spans more than 17 years. He started in client services with an entry-level job and then worked in various roles and capacities before serving in a Client Business Partner (CBP) role for P&G and Pepsi. He then became head of consumer research. He transitioned to a leadership role in 2008 when he was appointed as Managing Director for Pakistan. In 2010, he moved to Saudi Arabia when he took over as Managing Director for that country. In 2012, he assumed the additional responsibilities of overseeing the business in the lower gulf countries and Levant.
Arslan holds a Bachelor’s degree in science and he earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with majors in marketing and finance.
