Chang leads both the Marketing Effectiveness Practice and Automotive Industry Group in Nielsen across Southeast Asia, North Asia and Pacific.
Based in Singapore, Chang is responsible for growing the analytics business in Asia Pacific, focusing on resolving clients’ critical business issues, and elevating Nielsen’s reputation as a trusted business advisor.
In his role helming the Marketing Effectiveness Practice, Chang and his team of consultants and analysts focus on driving client success by evaluating marketing strategies from every angle to make the critical connection between marketing and sales.
Chang has extensive knowledge of Asia and the Asian consumer. Tasked to establish and lead Nielsen’s Analytic Consulting Business for this region, Chang has worked and lived in Korea and China since 2006. Based in Shanghai and Seoul, Chang developed a deep understanding of the business challenges as well as analytic needs of clients across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
In 2013, Chang was appointed as Automotive Industry Group Leader to capitalize on Southeast Asia’s fast-growing middle class population and strong projections for growth in the automotive sector.
Before his career with Nielsen, Chang worked at John Hancock Financial Services, MMA Carat Inc. and the Modelling Group, which merged with the Nielsen Company in 2006.
