Craig Henry serves as the head of Nielsen’s commercial operations in Southern Africa leading the team responsible for all client service, strategy and operational execution within South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. He brings more than 20 years experience working across South Africa’s fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and retail industries, with a proven track record in Retailer Engagement and Collaborative practices.
Since joining Nielsen, Mr. Henry has held numerous leadership positions within the company, most recently as the head of South Africa client service for Nielsen’s Retail Measurement Services where he served as a strategic business partner to many well-known global multinational and local CPG brands. He successfully led the team that increased Modern Trade participation with Nielsen and won over multiple large global manufacturing clients. Apart from Nielsen, Mr. Henry held Customer Marketing and National Key Account roles for a range of large consumer brands and retailers, including Pick n Pay, National Brands and Mondelez Cadbury.
He holds a diploma in Retail Management and completed the GIBS Nexus Leadership program.
