Nielsen will serve as the exclusive data provider for the 2017 awards
New York, NY – Aug. 14, 2017 – Nielsen and the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) today announced that Nielsen is serving as the exclusive data provider for Canada’s biggest country music awards show by supporting the balloting and selection process of the 2017 nominations with its trusted music data and insights through the Music Connect platform.
The CCMA Awards show will take place on Sept. 10, 2017, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and will air on CBC featuring a number of special musical performances, including Gord Bamford, Dean Brody, Brett Kissell, Jess Moskaluke, Dallas Smith, as well as international superstar Blake Shelton.
