DANNY BRAGER, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, NIELSEN U.S. BEVERAGE ALCOHOL PRACTICE
Danny Brager is the Senior Vice President of Nielsen’s Beverage Alcohol Practice Area in the United States, supporting relationships with Nielsen’s Beer, Wine, and Spirits clients, as well as with key industry groups and the media. In this role, Danny and his team provides business information, analysis and insights, focusing on the U.S. retail environment and consumer – who they are, what they buy, and why. In addition, he supports the differentiated needs of the U.S. Beverage Alcohol client base within the Nielsen products/services portfolio.
Danny has fifteen years of experience specific to the Beverage Alcohol industry, and for the past 30 plus years has held a variety of marketing and sales positions with Nielsen, as well as with the Beverage Information Group, and a fact-based training company called ROI, Inc. He is a frequent speaker at many client and industry events – both in the U.S. and abroad - on the subject of U.S. Beverage Alcohol retail and consumer trends.
Danny was born, raised, and educated in Canada, graduating with an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration from York University in Toronto. After many years working with Nielsen in Canada, he moved to Southern California where he now lives. But as a Canadian, he's still a passionate hockey fan.
