Nielsen’s state-of-the-art Global Technology and Information Center in Oldsmar, Florida is a critical part of the company’s operations.  With a workforce of more than 1500 talented professionals, the Oldsmar Center is Nielsen’s largest facility in the world.  It is located near the cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Nielsen has maintained a significant presence in this region of Florida for nearly 40 years.  Over this time, the company has created thousands of jobs, supported a range of worthy causes, contributed noticeably to the local tax base and driven economic investment in the region.  Over the last seven years alone, the company has:

• Invested nearly $130 million in building our new Center in Oldsmar
• Added more than 340 new high-wage jobs, each paying more than 150% of the local average wage
• Paid $11.5 million in real estate and personal property taxes

	Nielsen’s Global Technology Center helped jumpstart major business expansion in Oldsmar Nielsen’s presence helped to accelerate Oldsmar’s tremendous economic expansion.  Moreover, the company’s direct investments have created numerous additional, non-Nielsen jobs in the area.  Nielsen continues to be the largest employer in Oldsmar.
