Karen Fichuk is President of Lead Markets. She is responsible for the management, performance and strategic direction of Nielsen’s consumer packaged goods manufacturer and retailer business in seventeen developed markets around the world, as well as our media business in these markets outside of the U.S.
Karen is passionate about helping clients win in the marketplace and driving the value of Nielsen’s consumer insights. Prior to her current role, she led Nielsen North America, focused on the consumer packaged goods manufacturer and retailer business in two of Nielsen’s largest markets, U.S. and Canada.
With over 20 years at Nielsen, Karen has contributed to several functional areas including Nielsen’s Finance, Marketing, Operations, Client Service and Retail Services. In 2010, she received Nielsen’s Chairman Award for advancing our retail strategic growth agenda.
Karen is an International Women’s Forum Fellow and mentors several female and diverse associates as a leader of Nielsen’s Diversity Council. She serves as Nielsen’s business lead for the Network for Executive Women and is Nielsen’s executive sponsor for internal global employee resource group, Women In Nielsen (WIN).
Karen received a B.S. in Finance/Real Estate from Colorado State University and attended the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
