Chief Financial Officer
Brian West serves as Chief Financial Officer for Nielsen. He was appointed to the position in February 2007, and also oversees Nielsen Expositions, the leading business-to-business trade show operation in the U.S.
Brian spent 16 years at The General Electric Company (GE), where he held a number of finance roles with increasing responsibility, including CFO of NBC's TV Stations Division, CFO of GE Engine Services, and Chief Financial Officer – GE Aviation, a $12 billion global business. He began his GE career at GE Plastics as part of the Financial Management Program (FMP) in 1991.
Brian is a graduate of Siena College and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University.
