Diemen, 10 April 2019 – Johan Vrancken has assumed the role of Managing Director for Nielsen Belgium and the Netherlands as of 1 April 2019.
Vrancken looks back on a career of 20 years in various general management, start-up and brand marketing roles, and was most recently the Managing Director of Nielsen Singapore. Prior to that, Vrancken managed Nielsen’s Innovation Practice in growth and emerging markets and was Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific of Affinnova, which was later acquired by Nielsen.
“I am very much looking forward to relocating back to the Benelux and to continuing on the successful path Nielsen Benelux has taken in recent years,” said Vrancken. “It’s a really exciting time for Nielsen, and I feel privileged to lead this great team in the next phase of our data and tech transformation.”
Johan Vrancken replaces Pedro Lima, who is moving on to a new position within Nielsen. Lima had successfully led Nielsen Benelux as Managing Director since December 2012.
