As the year is drawing to a close, we at Nielsen Switzerland would like to thank you for your valued partnership and trust this past year.

It’s been a great quarter for us at Nielsen Switzerland. Last month, we signed a cooperation agreement with Aldi Suisse to bring them into our retail panel — giving you great insight on the development of this important channel in early 2019. A few weeks ago, we announced that Brack.ch will be joining Digitec-Galaxus on our e-commerce benchmark, coming to you in the first quarter of next year. We’re thrilled to continually improve our service to you, so that you have the right data to make your most important business decisions.

In our last newsletter issue of the year, we have once again compiled some exciting topics. We report on today’s pricing challenges and how you can optimize your pricing strategy to drive the right shopper behavior. We bring you insights on the evolution of “smart discounters,” and how they bring a Swiss touch to the market. Lastly, we give insight on sustainability claims on packaging, and how they impact the path to purchase.
