Scott McKinley is Executive Vice President and GM of the Nielsen Innovation Lab. He leads Nielsen’s product innovation efforts as head of the Nielsen Innovation Lab in collaboration with the Stanford Graduate School of Business to develop new capabilities to measure and improve marketing ROI for Nielsen’s global advertiser, agency, and media clients. The Lab recently expanded operations to Singapore to serve the rapidly developing APAC markets.
Before Nielsen, Mr. McKinley was CEO of Factor TG, a venture-backed analytics company headquartered in San Francisco. Factor TG was a pioneer in digital and cross-channel advertising measurement and accountability solutions. Factor TG was acquired by Symphony in 2010. Before venturing into startups, he was an executive in Cox Enterprises’ new media division, Cox Interactive Media.
Prior to his career in media and marketing research, McKinley enjoyed a successful career as a world class professional road cyclist, highlighted by captaining the 1988 U.S. Olympic Cycling Team in Seoul, Korea.
