Beijing – October 23rd – Nielsen, a leading global provider of information and insights into what consumes watch and buy, announced that Patrick Dodd is appointed as Managing Director, Nielsen China, with responsibility for all of Nielsen’s business activities in China. Patrick reports to Yan Xuan, president of Nielsen Greater China.
“A veteran of Nielsen for more than two decades, Patrick’s tremendous experience and his track record of exceeding expectations in his prior leadership and client-focused roles will bring precious experiences to Nielsen China, and to our efforts to help our clients drive success in the region,” said Yan Xuan, president of Nielsen China. “This important appointment reflects Nielsen’s commitment and focus on the fast-growing and dynamic China region,” Yan Xuan added.

Prior to his role as Nielsen’s global lead for a major multinational client worldwide, Patrick served as regional president of Europe and head of Nielsen’s business in Canada. In his new role as Managing Director for Nielsen China, Patrick is based in Shanghai.
