ABOUT YOU AND THE ROLE
Part of Nielsen Marketing Cloud, VisualDNA online personality quizzes collect data on internet users’ demographics, preferences and lifestyles and power a broad set of online data segments, used for targeting adverts and market research style analytics. VisualDNA quizzes attract over a million yearly participants globally and represent one of the largest rolling consumer panels available today.

Nielsen Marketing Cloud have a responsibility to provide an unbiased, global panel of quiz takers and so are looking for an inquisitive, analytically minded individual to join the quiz production team. The role will primarily focus on servicing our clients with analytical outputs, contributing to our growing analytics codebase and providing ad-hoc performance analytics for our always-on quizzes.
This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly, collaborative team working in a startup environment while retaining the prestige of working for an industry leading corporation. You will have direct input into the product and given the freedom to pursue your own lines of enquiry to improve its performance.
This role would suit an analytically minded graduate looking to build their experience in business, and improve their coding and client facing skills.
Nielsen help clients to profile customer bases and demographic and owns and operates a survey platform online personality quizzes that measure performance and essentially deliver analytics which is market research in part This role sits within Nielsen Marketing Cloud and work closely with engineering teams
You’ll be involved in conducting brand surveys and brand uplift by inject questions into personality quizzes to extract customer data insights.
You’ll be client facing and there wll be some account management of how the research management is created and delivered.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING ?
General ownership of our client-facing analytics output – running automated reports and performing ad-hoc analyses.
Assisting the team with internal analytics output – building dashboards and providing insights based on our data to help with quiz optimisation.
Helping to run our brand uplift product. This includes sourcing images, preparing copy, deploying tracking code, publishing, testing and marketing the quiz using a range of in-house and 3rd party platforms.
Analysing and refining quiz marketing strategies.
Contributing to our growing codebase for creating automated reports and data pulls.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?
To be successful in this position you will need:
- A background and interest in psychology/statistics/maths/economics or similar.
- Ability to analyse data in spreadsheets and create charts explaining insights.
- Ability to design experiments which power real-world performance improvements.
- Problem solving skills which extend into solving open-ended questions.
- Native /fluent command of English and good communication skills.
