Nielsen Retailer Price Service/Instore Business Consultant, Stockholm 



Instore Business Consultant plays a significant role in helping our retail clients with price surveys, driving change with insights and measurable impact. As a Consultant, you will be working both with clients and internal teams, leading project end-to-end and making sure that Retailers receive valuable data regarding the price strategy. 


  • Being responsible for Nielsen Retailer Price Service (NRPS) in Sweden.

  • Together with Retail Vertical Manager offering and negotiating price survey agreements with the retailers.

  • Planning and setting up a schedule for the surveys together with Data Acquisition and the respective retailers.

  • Ensuring that documentation (stores and products) prior to the surveys reach Nielsen in good time.

  • Together with Data Acquisition securing the quality of each and every survey.

  • Solving problems that arise and finding solutions.

  • Keeping in touch with the retailers and Data Acquisition team on a continuous basis.

  • Participating in governance meetings with the retailers, to inform about their price surveys.

  • Entering opportunities in Salesforce and invoice gradually and at the end of the month.

  • Being a part of the NRPS team in Europe and representing Sweden (possibly the Nordic countries) in regular meetings.

  • Securing ongoing contracts and revenues.

  • Offering prices on ad hoc surveys.

  • Setting up a budget at year-end.

  • Developing and streamlining cooperation between Retail Vertical team, Data Acquisition and retailers.

  • Collaborating with retailer account managers within the Retail Vertical team.

  • At least 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in retail.
  • Project management skills: experience in driving projects from start to completion.

  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Fluent in Swedish.

  • Degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics or similar.

  • Efficient in collaboration and good communication skills in a role where cross-functional coordination is key.

  • Interest and aptitude for problem-solving in an inclusive and unpretentious way.

  • Experience from cross-functional work and proven ability to independently handle multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience within validation/qualification.

  • Excellent communication, written and oral presentation skills.

  • Take clear ownership of tasks as well as being a good team player.

  • Good awareness of understanding the needs of clients and meeting their needs.

  • Good numerical confidence, excellent skills in Excel.
