The Integration GDSN Product Owner works in the Nielsen Brandbank Integration Development Team. They will represent customer and business interests through the definition and prioritisation of stories in the team backlog that provide deliverables. They aim to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers with Integration solutions.
The Product Owner works with Product Management and stakeholders to understand the Features and with the ScrumMaster and Integration Development Team to develop smaller, incremental stories and iteration deliverables based on those Features. Will work with other Product Owners and stakeholders to define and prioritise stories and determine dependencies. Owns the team backlog so that the solutions effectively address product priorities.
In this role, you will be an expert on the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) and industry best practices. You will have up to date experience and actively maintain knowledge of the local/global GDSN data model and its rules.
Your effort is essential for Nielsen Brandbank as you will need to deliver a product not just according to users, but the product that helps make our company vision reality.
Provide ongoing vision and direction to the Agile development team(s) in your assigned domain and communicate this to key stakeholders across the organisation
Ensure that the team(s) always have an adequate amount of play-ready tasks to work on
Plan, prioritise and refine the domain backlog in line with overall business priorities
Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities within your assigned domain(s)
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall business priorities
Lead the domain team(s) in backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Work closely with other Product Owners, Product Management and the PMO to align on strategy, ensuring seamless products and co-ordinated deliveries
Where appropriate, work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure end-to-end accountability is in place for delivery of project goals
Define acceptance criteria, set sprint goals and plan releases and upgrades
Lead the team(s) in planning product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities or other tasks
Take an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Provide support to the team(s) using a collaborative style and leading by example; personifying Scrum and Agile.
Provide regular and clear reporting to senior leaders and across the organisation
Research and analyse the market, users, and technical roadmap for the products or applications in your assigned domain
