As the Integration Solution Architect, you are responsible for developing the overall concept of new Integration products/solutions, clearing the technical issues as they occur ensuring the successful delivery of all project targets. You will be involved throughout the full development lifecycle of the Brandbank Integration Development solutions. You will be involved in all aspects of the team including the creation and elaboration of business requirements, functional/design specifications, development and maintenance of specific Integration Development software and driving innovation into our product suite. The Integration Solution Architect will be responsible for the technical solutions architecture for the Integration Development.

Reduced costs for custom and bespoke integrations solutions
Provision of robust and repeatable integration solutions
Responsible providing input into and the development of Integration Development roadmap and interface development, provide continuous feedback into the wider IT roadmap
Responsible for the deployment of Strategic Integration Solutions to bring business benefit to the enhanced data interpretation & syndication and customer experience
Lead and work as part of cross-functional, passionate agile (SCRUM) project team ensuring high-quality delivery is at the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
Responsible for research, recommend and implementation of tools as agreed with the business
Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; encouraging through teamwork innovative solutions to solve them
Be an advocate for the team and its products presenting its vision to all department through the organisation.
Responsible for ensuring exceptionally high standards of design and code quality at all times, including but not limited to adherence to architectural, security and scalability standards and principles applied within Brandbank IT.
Publicising and promoting a structured approach to systems Integration Development to colleagues across the business to build consensus around its nature, benefits, and costs
Support the Incident, Service Management and escalation processes with an aim to reduce mean time to resolution by providing necessary resource when called upon
Role Requirements E=essential, P=preferred
E – A strong working technical knowledge and an understanding of data (preferably consumer content) and its application across business
E – A demonstrable understanding of solution design and architecture and systems integration
E – Proven ability to quickly grasp a clear understanding of a customer’s needs and translate them to a set of requirements and well-planned solution deliverables
E – The ability to understand dive into the detail of a solution e.g. API definitions
E – Excellent verbal and written communication skills
E – Experience of leading, managing and developing staff with proven ability to motivate and engage others so that the team continuously strive to deliver high quality solutions.
E – Extensive technical understanding of some or all of the following
SQL & Relational Database concepts and structures
Programming languages (pref C#, Ruby)
XML-based web service protocols (SOAP and WSDL)
P – Past project management experience in an agile environment
P – An understanding of consumer content and/or on-line retail industry and related technologies
