Junior Consultant, Merchandising Services


Junior Consultant is responsible for developing and delivering all standardized and custom-built merchandising solutions in the Eastern Europe region, in coordination with the regional sales and technical teams. As a Merchandising Junior Consultant, you will be accountable for our customers' implementations and deliverables for the optimal use of Nielsen software solutions.


  • Deep knowledge of merchandising products.

  • Project Lead on merchandising deliveries in the region, incl. managing communication with the client and follow-ups.

  • Support the Nielsen sales team and technical team with your delivery competence.

  • Build up a strong partnership with the internal stakeholders and the customers.

  • Onboarding, training and support of new or existing customers on merchandising products.

  • Works with colleagues in the delivery team to provide a professional clear response to all clients.

  • Compiling and delivering documentation material for methodology questions and/or frequently asked questions.

  • Travel Activity / Onsite Activity.

  • Contributes to an ethical, positive, and productive corporate culture, to drive our business growth in the coming 3-5 years. 


You are at the highest level of contact with the clients. You possess good communication skills to discuss all sides of the merchandising business with the client and be the Nielsen expert on our product portfolio. Most of your client base will be in Eastern European countries, and that's great for you as you love international cooperation.


  • 1-2 years of prior working experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PivotTables, Power BI.

  • Strong communication skills (English, Ukrainian, Russian).

  • Preferred to have a technical and analytical background.

  • Articulate and highly numerical.

  • Ability to build good relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

  • Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions.

  • Reliability and commitment in the project and support.

  • Interest in working in a digital environment.


  • Experience with the software products of Assortment and Space Optimization.

  • Advanced proficiency in planogramming tools, preferably Nielsen Spaceman or JDA Space Planning.

  • Programming knowledge (VB, C#, .Net, etc.).

  • Database knowledge of MS Access, SQL Server.
