Job Description


We are looking for a Competitive Intelligence Product Marketing Director to join our fast growing Product Marketing team in Bucharest.  

We seek a skilled, curious marketer to drive competitive intelligence, and build a subject matter expertise that supports the overall growth of our company. This role requires strong leadership, project management, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Reporting into the Product Marketing Lead, the Competitive Intelligence Director will lead  competitive positioning and content strategy to enable our marketing & sales team to compete effectively in the marketplace

Within the first six months, this individual ideally should make an impact by developing an operational win/loss program to help capture insights that drive product, sales and marketing strategy for the business. The Product Marketing Director, Competitive Intelligence will build competitively differentiated messaging and positioning to support sales growth, and create operational processes to share competitive insights and strategic takeaways with Product, Marketing and Sales. We see this role as being the go-to-expert on key competitors in the collaboration solution market to inform executive decision making.


  • Engage in deep, accurate and timely ongoing market research and analysis of companies’ product and GTM strategy
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement to provide actionable competitive intelligence, sales tools, training, and consultative engagement to serve the needs of the field (battlecards, whitepapers, presentations, etc.)
  • Guide and influence product positioning and messaging based on product differentiation
  • Contribute to critical product decision-making by partnering with Product Management
  • Gather information on competitors from multiple internal and external sources, including hands-on evaluation
  • Analyze competitors' products, capabilities and value propositions to identify areas of differentiation for the development of effective strategies and tactics
  • Communicate competitive insights, product positioning, and talk tracks to Sales teams
  • Develop and maintain competitive materials for sales and partner enablement, including battlecards, field alerts, case studies, talk tracks, and training sessions
  • Establish methods and processes to ensure ongoing competitive information flow to stakeholders across the organization
  • Manage third party agencies/projects to source relevant competitive intelligence
  • Provide an objective viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of solutions and competitive information
  • Collaborate with marketing to support product launches by developing competitive support materials and ensuring sales readiness
  • Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable success
  • Clarify & manage expectations with each of 4 BU stakeholders and internal PMM team


You are someone who has a “roll up your sleeves and get it done” attitude – it is not enough to have great ideas, you are self motivated and able to get stuff done in a fast-paced environment.   You are a stellar communicator who is clear and concise and can keep audiences compelled no matter the topic but also an avid listener who values feedback from other team members and departments (particularly with the Product and Sales teams).  Last but certainly not least, you call yourself a  “data enthusiast” who enjoys building and tracking critical metrics that achieve big picture team goals.


  • 12 to 14 years of  product marketing or competitive analysis experience 
  • Bachelor's Degree / Master’s Degree 
  • Exposure to the B2C and B2B Research industry  
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer problems and position a competitively differentiated solution
  • Demonstrated ability in sales training or development of sales support or enablement tools
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proven organizational, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Technical and business savvy to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
  • Experience commanding competitive projects, including win/loss analysis, market analysis, marketing collateral creation, and internal enablement sessions
  • Proven successful history of productive collaboration with product, sales and marketing teams
  • Strong project management, critical and analytical thinking skills
