Senior Software Developer – 88481

Technology and Engineering – Poland Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship 

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Developer, you will be one of the scrum members for a Scrum team focusing on development tasks. Your primary objective is to ensure project goals are achieved and are aligned with business objectives.  You will also work closely with your Scrum team, program team and portfolio team to prioritize, develop, refine and implement quality software in production. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs, analyzes, and documents software applications across multiple project teams and applications:
  • Investigates and analyzes verbal and written requests for application software, interpreting application requirements to construct highly complex applications.
  • Writes technical documentation for routines and applications, facilitating their maintenance.
  • Constructs, tests, installs, and maintains software applications:
  • Develops highly complex software code, which is maintainable, easy to use, and satisfies application requirements.
  • Develops and executes application test plans, analyzes test results, and makes appropriate revisions to ensure the applications function as specified.
  • Contributes to the planning for acceptance testing and implementation of new software, performing supporting activities to ensure that customers have the information and assistance they need for a successful implementation.
  • Provides leadership and participates on project teams:
  • Provides input to the work project plan, performs technical review of applications and peers’ work and develops proposals for improvements.
  • Provides support to internal users and support staff:
  • Investigates application incidents for missing or incorrect functionality.
  • Assesses incident resolution and estimates application changes.
  • Applies resolutions, leading to timely, and error free revisions in applications.
  • Researches, assesses and facilitates the adoption of new technologies
  • Performs configuration management tasks:
  • Ensures application software components are archived in common repositories according to IT standards with appropriate documentation that reflects the progression from development to implementation.
  • Adopt to  Agile scrum team and enforce process that ensure software is delivered with high quality
  • Remove the impediments for the scrum team on timely manner
  • Need to work with a Scrum team located globally.
  • Enforce agile processes are adhered like Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Review, Retrospective, Daily stand up etc.

 
QUALIFICATIONS
 

Role Requirements (E=essential, R=Required, P=preferred) 
E- Bachelor of science degree in computer science or similar
E- 4+ years of software development/engineering experience
E- Advanced knowledge of multiple software development languages and proficiency in all related languages
E- Advanced knowledge of relevant operating systems and communication interfaces
E- Advanced knowledge of software design and testing principles
E- Advanced knowledge of database management systems
P- 6+ years of IT experience
P- Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partners
R- GitLab/Airflow
R – Designs, analyzes, and documents software applications
R – Constructs, tests, installs, and maintains software applications.
R – Experience Java programming/Spark/Scala/Python
R – Strong SQL skills in any RDBMS
R – Working with Big data and analytics
P – Superior influencing, presentation and communication skills
P- Experience in Agile tools like JIRA
P- Amazon Web Services Exposure
P – Hadoop Exposure
