This tag enables LinkedIn ads to nielsen.com (or related sites – e.g., careers.nielsen.com) site visitors. The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of metadata such as IP address information, timestamp, and events (e.g., page views). All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in a browser until cookies are deleted or the cookie expires (based on a rolling six-month expiration from the last time the user’s browser loaded the Insight tag). FACEBOOK DOMAIN VERIFICATION
Purpose: to show Facebook ads to nielsen.com (or related sites – e.g., careers.nielsen.com) site visitors, as well as edit metadata information (image, title of article / page, short summary of article / page) for all Facebook posts of Nielsen content. Domain verification provides a way for Nielsen to control editing privileges of links and other content to prevent misuse of Nielsen’s domain. More information:
TWITTER ADS TAG
Purpose: show Twitter ads to nielsen.com (or related sites – e.g., careers.nielsen.com) site visitors, and track conversions (example: “Site Visit”) in regard to Nielsen’s use of Twitter ads.

HOW NIELSEN RESPONDS TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Nielsen is participating in the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) process to develop a robust Do Not Track (DNT) standard. At this time, however, the definitions and meanings of DNT signals and responses, and the correct behavior regarding DNT signals, are not defined. Until such time as the standard is finalized, Nielsen does not assign any meaning to potential DNT signals.
