2 minute read | December 2019

In recognition of our continued dedication to workplace diversity, equality and inclusion, Nielsen has been ranked 11th in The Inclusive Top 50 U.K. Employers List, a comprehensive list of U.K.-based organizations that promote inclusion across all protected characteristics, throughout each level of employment within an organization.

The Inclusive Top 50 U.K. Employers List identifies the most inclusive companies across the nation and recognizes the outstanding efforts of organizations that are attracting and retaining a truly diverse workforce, achieving equality, diversity and inclusion at its purest form.

The list is compiled by a distinguished panel of judges, and the organizations on the list have provided sufficient evidence on an amalgamation of topics including recruitment procedures, training and a host of diversity related initiatives.

“This list presents the very best of U.K. companies that are integrating an inclusive culture right from the top of their organizations—no one size fits all, and the breadth of initiatives is a reminder of the importance in innovation and diversity of thinking for all employers,” said Founder and CEO, Paul Sesay. “The Top 50 represents the ripple effect all the organizations are making on not only their own people, but society as a whole. The List is a brilliant way of sharing the great strides that are being made.”

Nielsen’s position reflects the high standard against which we operate and the recognition of our continuous dedication to diversity, equality and inclusion.

‘’We are thrilled to once again be recognized as one of the UK’s Inclusive Top 50 Employers,” said Cathy Earle, Nielsen U.K. and Ireland HR Director. “We’re also incredibly proud that our work over the last year to truly embed diversity, equality and inclusion throughout our business has helped to propel us up the rankings to 11th place. We are committed to diversity, equality and inclusion at all levels, and our work will continue, embracing and harnessing the richness of diverse backgrounds, people, and ideas, creating an inclusive culture, and a great place for our associates to come to work everyday.”
