As a new associate at Nielsen’s office in Chennai, I realized the people I am around make me excited to come to work everyday. Everyone I have met has been very encouraging and helpful when I had questions. I have been able to learn new technologies that I never worked with before. Our main focus is data. As the Solution Activation team, we are the bridge between the client and Precima. We have to be subject matter experts on our solutions and provide clients with the best versions for their business. Working in Precima (a recent Nielsen acquisition), I have had the opportunity to work across many different projects with clients. Our job is to be strategic but creative with the solutions we offer. 
Since I joined Nielsen, I have had the opportunity to launch our employee resource group in Canada, called SABLE (Sustaining Active Black Leadership and Empowerment). It is extremely important to me that I get the opportunity to learn from many people and be challenged in my work. You should pursue everything you want because people are willing to share what they know and teach you if you put yourself out there.

Our people’s safety. The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the way everyone lives and works, and we’re no exception. Our first priority is the health and safety of our associates and the communities we operate in. To keep us all as safe as possible, we’ve made some adjustments to our recruiting process. For the time being, interviews and assessments will be done virtually, and we’re set up for remote onboarding. We have regular video meetings, so you can feel like part of the team right from the start. We’ll be back in our offices once it’s safe to return. In the meantime, you can join us from your home office knowing we have a solid, global infrastructure and remote work capabilities already in place.
