Nielsen’s Plan and Optimize team focuses on outcome measurement, and empowers advertisers, publishers and agencies with the intelligence they need to drive revenue, increase market share, and optimize their audiences and investments.  We are looking for a skilled, data savvy operational analyst to join our Nielsen Compass team to support and deliver our cross media outcome norms powered by Nielsen’s marketing effectiveness product.




  • Manage monthly data collection process from end to end working with our regional Operations and Tech teams
  • Independent delivery of client and internal reports with accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in feasibility requests 
  • Produce standardized monthly and quarterly reports 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and reliability of the data by coordinating with the Tech, Commercial and Product teams




  • 1-2 years of work experience or advanced student of Economics, Statistics, Mathematics,  Marketing (with quantitative emphasis)
  • Advanced level of oral and written English
  • Strong knowledge of the Digital and TV marketing, media industry or ad operations
  • Experience in servicing commercial delivery
  • Ability to work across geographically distributed teams and the ability to attend U.S. morning calls 
  • Basic knowledge of statistical modeling preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and problem solve




The Compass Operations team is responsible for managing and delivering custom and syndicated marketing effectiveness benchmarks and reports to our global commercial teams for internal and external needs.  This includes working cross-functionally with our product, engineering, client delivery, sales and operations teams.
