Job Description


NielsenIQ’s Consumer Insights practice specializes in designing tailored research solutions to solve complex business problems. As a part of the Consumer Insights team, you will be working with some of Taiwan’s biggest brands to make an impact across a diverse range of industries, including FMCG, retail, automotive, and more. In your role, you will manage bespoke research projects spanning a wide variety of research approaches – ranging from traditional research methodologies through to using next-generation research tools. You will also conduct research covering key strategic areas, such as brand and advertising, customer experience, and pure customized-research. 


  • Supervise a small client servicing team to ensure prompt delivery of service to the responsible clients in order to achieve the set financial objectives and other operational performance indicators

  • Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date, and insightful client business profiles to be shared with senior management

  • Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews and also by providing value-added analyses and response to special requests

  • Undertake sales activities independently or in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation and delivery of proposal and credentials

  • Ensure the generation of required revenue from the assigned client portfolio and proper contract costing in order to meet the agreed budget targets

  • Identify and recommend enhanced and new services that answer clients' needs

  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within the client organization


Business acumen and well organized, including planning and focus to deliver the financial outcome.Highly motivated, self-directed, pro-active & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines or an agile environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation. 




  • Experienced in qualitative market research techniques/methodologies such as research proposal design , Focus group (FGD) moderation and content analysis etc. or related marketing analysis role is a must.

  • Sociable, open minded, out-going, empathetic, energetic and articulate

  • Strong client focus and proactiveness

  • Very good influencing, persuading and project management skills

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
