About the Role

 

Ready for an adventure? As a Client Service Executive at Nielsen, you’re on the front lines of data collection, building in-person relationships with our consumers.

We are looking for an energetic, driven person to join our Nielsen team in Cape Town to support our existing client base and grow our business. Guiding our users along their data journey and building lasting relationships, this position offers the driven candidate an opportunity to grow and flourish in an almost century old company leading the way in media research.

 

Role Details

 

  • Own and manage portfolio of Cape Town clients.
  • Deliver on-time reporting for monthly ad hoc clients.
  • Client Service to all Cape Town clients across Arianna, Ad Intel, and IMS.
  • Drive new business growth in Cape Town.
  • Renewal of all Cape Town Ad Intel Contracts.
  • Support the Commercial South African team as needed, especially in areas of cross over between regions.
  • Process Data – data loading and processing such as Rate Cards and Packages were needed.
  • Liaise with the Commercial Team to identify and support business growth opportunities.
  • Assist with long outstanding debtors’ collections.
  • Maintain a watchful eye on debtors related to Cape Town clients.
  • Look for areas where the business can grow in the Cape region.
  • Create Industry Presentations for Marcoms purposes.

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Media related diploma or degree
  • Experience in media analysis or media planning
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in the media industry
  • Experience with WizzAd Plus, Arianna and / or Clear Decisions will be an advantage
  • Valid Drivers License and own transportation.
