About the role

Working within the Global Compensation Guidelines, the Compensation Analyst will support the VP of Global Compensation and Benefits and the Manager of North America Compensation in researching job requirements and evaluating job positions to ensure the company maintains a competitive total compensation package.  


Role Details

  • Provide comp analysis support to U.S. C&B , HR/People Team, and Managers including:

    • Support in conducting annual market pricing and consultant-sponsored compensation/benefits surveys

    • Perform job evaluations to ensure proper placement of positions in bands

    • Support year-end compensation processes, including merit increase and incentive payout planning

    • Participate in projects and analysis to improve compensation structures, job architecture, and organizational structures

    • Ensure alignment with Company Total Rewards philosophy while allowing the Company to recruit and retain the highest quality talent possible

    • Prepare and present summary reports of job and compensation analyses

    • Review compliance with FLSA standards, and advise management on applicable state and federal employment regulations and compensation policies

    • Process special payments 

  • Support global teams working with HR Business Partners to provide compensation analysis to the business.  Serve on project teams as needed.

  • Perform administration duties for global compensation systems working with the Technology team as the point of contact 

    • Systems include SAP, SuccessFactors, Callidus, and Payfactors

    • Provide support for global compensation systems and larger scale HR system projects

    • Create reports and models for compensation programs


Role Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1+ year of experience in Compensation analysis

  • Familiarity with HRIS administration

  • Strong experience with data analysis and mathematical modeling using spreadsheets/database; ability to identify research and correct data anomalies; ability to decipher large data sets and tell the story

  • Basic understanding of compensation structure and administration including job evaluation, base salary, and incentives

  • Experience coordinating projects and leading a team (project plan management desired)

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft suite, high level in Excel (basic programming skills a plus)

  • Detail oriented

  • Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization in various locations



  • Experience with SAP &/or Successfactorssales incentive plan design and administration 

  • Experience with Google applications including sheets, doc, slides, gmail, and chats
