In Nielsen Online practice, we work with e-giants to help them drive growth via better  understanding of consumers at every stage of the journey i.e. realization of a need through to the  moment of purchase, followed by how they live with and use products/ services.

As a Director, you will manage a large business portfolio for a prestigious client, manage senior client stakeholders and will have the opportunity to consult and drive consumer data driven decisions for our clients. This is a highly visible, growth driving role at Nielsen which is well supported by multi-level teams.




  • You will inspire and lead your teams in securing and executing business (NBD as well as existing) on online media custom insighting work. You will lead the charge in securing project briefs, writing winning proposals, supporting the team in timely and correct execution by liaising with the appropriate internal stakeholders like Operations, Data Science, Technology, Finance and Legal for smooth execution and finally ensuring solid closures the project with clients by guiding teams to create insightful, impactful and actionable presentations for clients. Financial tracking and discipline is a key aspect of the role.
  • You will drive thought leadership for the client, based on the wide array of consumer data that we collect on a continuous basis across all research programs. The deliverables are strategic in nature and therefore you will spearhead all data insighting and presentation for your business unit. You will inspire your client to bring in a consumer perspective to marketing / communication / media decisions.
  • There will be immense opportunity for innovation and testing new designs / methodology, thereby strengthening the existing research program. Innovation goes hand in hand with the ongoing work.

  • Minimum 11 years experience in Market Research-Consumer Insight/Media/Digital
  • Hands-on customized market research, agency experience (E-Commerce experience is  a plus)
  • Very Good Influencing & Persuading Skills
  • Open to the challenge of having a ‘Consultative approach’ as the ways of working with the client.
  • Should have experience in customised research work.
  • Experience in managing Brand tracking programs will be very beneficial.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Client obsession is key
  • Empathy and Patience towards your team is important.
