ABOUT THIS JOB

Nielsen Retailer Vertical (RV) simplify and streamline collaboration between retailers and suppliers by providing a joint set of tools through a shared platform. Now, you can access diverse data sources, visualizations and analytical tools that help you differentiate your brand while keeping your retailer’s perspective top of mind. With you and your retailers using the same tools, you’ll be able to deliver mutual growth with speed, accuracy and consistency.

Manage a group of modern trade retailer accounts; drive the cooperation with assigned retailers by ensuring delivery of service & solution recommendation in order to achieve the company’s financial objectives and other operational performance indicators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Client Servicing

●      Drive commercial activities independently or in conjunction with senior in terms of preparation and delivery of proposal and credentials

●      Responsibility of expanding our scope of influence with clients across a wider range of products and with greater depth of involvement

●      Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews

●      Provide product solutions and benefits to client business issues / opportunities by developing strategic initiatives for each client

●      Ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications while meeting the company's quality standards

●      Build and maintain good relationships with the identified key persons within client organization

●      Attend client planning meetings and contribute by providing Nielsen insights and solutions to the client’s business needs

●      Recruit new retailers for data collaboration in Modern Trade enhancement plan

●      Assist in ensuring adherence to the approved company policies on business conduct / ethics when servicing clients

●      Maintain an accurate, complete, up-to-date and insightful client business profiles to be shared with senior management

Team development & technical;

●      Ensure team members are trained to handle client requirements

●      Maintain an accurate and up-to-date knowledge on research techniques and applications

●      Provide value-added analyses and respond to special requests

●      Manage data quality issues by overseeing data inquiry process

●      Recommend improvements in work processes within area of responsibility

Financial Management

●      Contribute to overall team plan by generating revenue and/or cost savings ideas

●      Ensure continuous market scoping initiatives and release of business proposals to targeted client are pursued to ensure adequate supply of business prospects are in the pipeline

Organizational Management and Development

●      Ensure alignment of operating systems and processes that will enable the business unit to achieve the overall business objectives

●      Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs

●      Promote inter-departmental and inter-divisional communications and teamwork

Client Relationship / Management

Proactively develops client relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand the client; anticipating and providing solutions to client needs; giving high priority to client satisfaction

●      Build trust with Retailer to enhance the current relation and to recruit new modern trade retailers to collaborate with Nielsen

●      Be able to reach and interact with C-Suite level contacts

●      Understand Retailers needs and strategies

●      Acknowledges both internal and external clients

●      Is especially helpful when client is going through a critical period (e.g. gives client a mobile phone number or other means of easy access or may spend extra time at the client's location)

●      Makes concrete attempts to add value to the clients

●      Attends client relationship building activities with an understanding of purpose

●      Seeks information about the real, underlying needs of the client, beyond those expressed initially and matches these to available (or customized) products and services

Qualifications

●      BA / BS Required (MBA desirable)

●      Above 05 years of experience in Market Research or Modern Trade Retailer or Marketing Consulting Firm

●      Working experience in category management, modern trade channel development, business development are preferable

●      Project management experience

●      Effective writing skills
