ABOUT THIS JOB
Nielsen is seeking a strong and experienced mobile Android developer. This position requires at least 2-4 years of experience in the Android domain. This position will be responsible for designing, developing a mobile application. The successful candidate will be required to engage with all areas within Nielsen including Testing, backend processing systems, operations and partners around the world. This position is expected to bring industry best practices of source control, code review, automated unit test to the team
Experience in App Automation Testing
Analyze requirements, functional specification and create detailed level test cases.
Ability to identify a set of test cases that will be a good fit for automation and scope out automation coverage for a particular project.
Execution of Appium, Selenium automation scripts during regression testing cycles.
Producing statistical reports on test phase execution.
Requirement understanding Responsible for communication with the Developers and stakeholders Knowledge on Test Plan and Strategies Expertise in test case writing Create automated test cases
Execute automated test cases Prepare and report test results and statistics
Create a weekly plan and weekly reports
Must have worked on Mobile automation testing using Appium and able to establish an automation framework
Worked on Manual and Automation Testing and other Testing Techniques
Good to have experience in automation testing using a tool Appium
Knowledge of Application Testing Methodology and QA Processes
Expertise in the design and execution of Test cases and reporting defects Defect tracking activities include defect Identification,
Recording and Tracking to closure
Good to have – 2-4 years in respective technologies Candidate will be responsible for Android App / Web App Testing.
