POSITION: Planning Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Global Ingest Center of Excellence

We are currently looking for a Planning Coordinator to join our Content team in Mumbai..

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Planning Coordinator will ensure that daily shift staffing levels are aligned to deliver customer projects on time. This person will create monthly rosters and daily shift schedules for a team that works in rotating shifts 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This person will also be responsible for creating, maintaining and publishing high quality MIS reports to support performance evaluations, productivity analyses, and other initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare a monthly shift roster for the 24/7 team based on project and BAU requirements.

  • Arrange local daily work schedules, and adjust them based on changing priorities and staff availability.

  • Actively provide coverage solutions on public holidays, after hours, and unexpected peak loads if required.

  • Provide visibility on capacity availability to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop processes and tools to measure, assess and report the team’s performance.

  • Work together with Process Coordinator(s) to evaluate staff and to assign them to the most suitable projects.

  • Support the annual associate goal process and end of year reviews.

  • Maintain effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

  • Work on and/or lead internal projects as required and assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Any Graduate.

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.

  • Excellent MS Excel skills expected.

  • Prior experience in shift planning, work allocation and MIS creation is highly desirable.

  • Quality-focused individual with high level of attention to detail.

  • Able to work in a self-directed and fast-paced environment.

  • Ready to work in a 24/7 operation, including evening, night and weekend shifts if necessary.
