In this role, you will be responsible for:
As part of the Nielsen Advanced Video Advertising team, responsible for technical product analysis and development for the Nielsen TV ACR (automated content recognition) Data products suite, collaborating with Engineering and Sales on executing new product offers: Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships and/or Business Development teams, as well as clients, to evaluate, document, and prioritize product and system requirements from both internal and external sources. Define and maintain product strategy document, and translate product strategy into detailed technical requirements for engineering, including to expand the system to serve new purposes that resolve customers’ evolving technical and business problems. Work across Business and Engineering teams to develop specifications for new product features based on client and/or market requirements, and to review and develop product technical specifications, software APIs/services design and architecture, quality assurance guidelines and release process. Monitor production systems, perform UATs (user acceptance tests) before product rollout and work with the Sales and Business teams to rollout product versions to clients, owning product rollout, release quality and health of production systems. Plan and execute tests during all stages of product development and releases. Troubleshoot technical and production issues reported by clients and work with teams to fix production issues. Collaborate with PMO (Project Management Office) and Engineering on product features and release plan, ensuring delivery on requirements. Communicate with clients to ensure product features meet their requirements and product is scaled appropriately as per clients' needs. Regularly perform product data analytics to assess the cost of running the system, and develop unique insights into how systems, users and customers are utilizing the product. Define and track key metrics for product success and return-on-investment analysis to envision and prioritize product development. Generate and analyze ad-hoc reports. Supervise 1-2 Product Managers. Includes domestic travel, 4x/year, for up to 2 days/trip. Tools used: Moqups, Jira, Confluence, Amazon Web Services (AWS), ElasticSearch, Spark, Hadoop, SQL, and Superset.
FOR THIS ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field with an information technology focus + 4 years of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible experience in business analysis and product management related to market research/marketing technology solutions. This must include: 4 years of experience in/with: rolling-out new B2B (business-to-business) and B2B2C (business-to-business-to-consumer) products to the market; Agile methodologies; Jira and Confluence; SQL; and AWS. 3 years of experience in/with: Big Data technologies Spark, Superset, Elastic Search and Hadoop. Must have strong analytical, organizational, collaborative (involving multiple internal and external stakeholders), long-term project management, as well as product rollout and training skills, and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable goals. Must be willing to travel domestically 4x/year for up to 2 days/trip.
