ABOUT THE ROLE

We use our data to help our clients understand what their consumers watch on Television.  We measure performance for our clients and we use analytics to help our clients grow their business. At Nielsen, we make a difference by partnering with our clients and using our data to explain what is happening with their brands and what they should do to improve business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • You will receive data from our TV panel and undertake a range of quality control checks, identifying and investigating any issues or anomalies.

  • To perform quality control activities based on the established guidelines to ensure all data are accurately validated.

  • To ensure production levels and results are provided to customers (countries) as agreed. 

  • Proactively reach out to all Nielsen households to identify issues such as technical problems, behavioural issues or low performance or device error. 

  • You will utilise your organisation and communication skills to liaise with our panel on a range of issues ( exp: vendor and help desk) and organise our field technicians to provide onsite support.

  • Ability to analyze data from various sources to make informed decisions on the resolution or escalation of issues. 

  • Assist in an escalation of the issues that need further action/contact to the HelpDesk or field teams for resolution.

  • To guarantee that the information in the system (HHMasters/Panel Management Systems) are up to date and accurate on a daily basis.

  • Responsible for maintenance of main/secondary production statuses.

  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate demographics data for all active households in the sample. 

  • Monitoring on a daily basis regarding the channel map used, distributed by the broadcasting stations/cable providers or representation of channel coverage in the operating sample.

  • Carry out survey / coincidental survey.

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in any field.

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a production or related field.

  • Preferable working experience in data management, quality control or data analysis.

  • An ability to understand technical information and an eye for detail

  • Good numerical and analytical skills with experience working with multiple databases

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively liaise with a wide range of people

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet tight delivery deadlines

  • Shows initiative and a strong sense of urgency

  • Attention to details and results-oriented

  • Ability to work on extended hours and /or on weekends; if required by the business.

  • Working Schedule: ( Normal Working Hours)

  • This is an office-based role ( Bangkok Thailand)
