Regional iMedia Senior Research Manager – 72924

Operations – Malaysia Petaling Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan 

 

 

Job Purpose

● To assist in leading Nielsen’s regional CMV survey deployment across the East region, ensuring research “best practices” are followed
● To drive & oversee the management of the CMV questionnaires to ensure harmonization
● To align & support countries revisions, enhancements, or modifications of their CMV survey

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

● Support iMedia Product Planning Specialist and iMedia CMV Product Manager for CMV
● Support Regional Business Partners as countries ingest additional CMV data sets, combine/fuse data sets, or add data sets from partners
● Be able to work with different field methodologies and survey questionnaire requirements to ensure alignment
● Support escalation point for Nielsen countries when questionnaire improvements are needed
● Working with local business units to understand and guide in the development and addition of relevant questions for clients and Nielsen
● Providing training to local/regional teams on best practices for survey questions
● Creating training documentation to pass on to the local/regional teams responsible for converting client needs into appropriate survey questions
● Support internal stakeholders in change management of surveys

 

 

Role Requirements

● 5+ years of experience handling research projects would be ideal
● Ability to work with a large number of stakeholders and guide decisions, including Commercial, Operations, Analysts, Data Science, and clients
● Experience in developing and/or managing tracking questionnaires 

● Good market knowledge across a range of core CMV topics
● Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver optimized results consistently
● Strong Project Management and Organizational skills
● Expert knowledge of various Data Collection methodologies – pros and cons based on the type of quantitative study being conducted (eg, CAPI, Online/CAWI, CATI, etc)
● Proven experience with large tracking studies
● Strong Communication and Influencing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts to varying audiences.
● Effective Analytical skills
● Ability to negotiate across lines of business and lines of reporting
● Ability to build and foster relationships. High degree of comfort interacting with all levels of the organization and external clients.
● Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements with quantifiable benefits
● Effective Presentation skills
