Data is ubiquitous in our daily life. When you see an advertisement on TV/ online, or you are promoted by price discount, do you ever wonder how these executions influence your purchase decision? Or how the advertisers make decisions to place these ads? Nielsen Marketing Effectiveness data analytics (DA) team analyses data from multiple resources to generate holistic views and help clients to understand their business with valuable insights. We are now offering a position based in Shanghai, China that will be responsible for performing the analysis of media effectiveness evaluation for key clients within the China region and assisting managers in delivering insights and recommendations to clients.





  • Undertake specific analytical projects, especially Marketing Mix Modeling, including data collection and cleaning, data analysis, modeling, interpreting output and preparing reports. 
  • Collaborate with on-shore and off-shore teams to accomplish client / project objectives.
  • Build client relationships and handle basic communication.
  • Responsible for project documentation, management and project revenue recognition process.
  • 依据不同项目需求提供特别是市场营销组合方面的项目执行及解决方案,包括:数据收集及清洗,数据分析,模型解读及报告撰写
  • 根据客户/项目研究目标整合内外部门资源确保项目执行
  • 与客户建立良好的沟通及工作关系
  • 负责项目管理全流程包括资料准备,项目管理及利润确认等环节




  • 1 to 3 year experiences in FMCG / Media /Retail /Ecommerce /Market Research industry
  • Bachelor or Master degree; Majors in statistics, mathematics, psychology, economics or closely related field are preferred
  • Knowledge with statistics, coding or data mining is required
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English
  • 具备1-3年的快消/媒介/零售/电商/市场研究咨询行业经验
  • 本科及以上学历;专业以统计学、数学、心理学、经济学或相关专业为优先考虑因素
  • 具备一定的统计学、编码或数据挖掘能力
  • 中英文书写及沟通流利
