Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

In this role, you will:
Build, deploy, and maintain the technology and processes to support the global Cyber Security Operations area. Design, build, configure and maintain all network and endpoint cyber defense capabilities. Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade cybersecurity measures to protect enterprise data, and infrastructure. Utilize SIEM to create custom content that will provide value to the Cybersecurity Incident Response team. Maximize installation coverage and feature deployment of endpoint and network cyber defense capabilities, and ensure centralized logging to the SIEM. Collaborate with primary and secondary stakeholders to develop dashboards, reports, alerts, and tools to meet stakeholder requirements. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure systems and services are configured appropriately for monitoring, alerting, and reporting. Report, investigate when appropriate, and recommend corrective actions for cybersecurity incidents. Advise incident responders on actions necessary to investigate and resolve cybersecurity incidents. Remain current on cybersecurity technology, vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures. Review performance, availability, and capacity metrics of internally and externally hosted services and service components to compare with service agreements. Troubleshoot escalated cybersecurity endpoint, data, and network problems. Stay up to date with current technology, vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures. Support Global Security Architecture as subject matter expert in the area of Cybersecurity technologies. Coordinate with regional security and infrastructure representatives for major architecture or topology changes that may impact the visibility, performance, or effectiveness of Global cyber tools. Involves domestic travel, 1x a year for 5 days/trip for trainings or conferences. Involves the opportunity to telecommute from within the Oldsmar, FL area for up to 2 days per week, as feasible.
FOR THIS ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in computer science, engineering, computer information systems or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in cyber security. Five (5) years of experience required with: Information technology experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux or UNIX; cybersecurity Operations and Incident Response procedures and toolsets used for internal investigations and audit compliance reviews; cybersecurity requirements for information system design and implementation in supporting business processes; utilizing security standards such as any one of the following: ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, ITIL, or COBIT ;working with Cloud IaaS/PaaS including AWS, GCP, and Azure; layer2 and layer3 technologies; utilizing endpoint and network cybersecurity technologies; and Log Management, Workflow, and Analytic Modules.
