ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As Senior Sales and Client Service Manager, you are responsible for finding and maintaining client relationships. In Nielsen, we make a difference by partnering with our clients and using data to explain what is happening with their business needs, and what they should do to improve business performance. Working with your Nielsen colleagues in a team environment, you will build partnerships to allow you to understand client needs and requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead marketing strategies and business plans for the growth and expansion of Nielsen services based on global and regional directions

  • Proactively develop client relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the client: anticipating and providing solutions to client needs

  • Drive client satisfaction by providing insights and actionable recommendations during presentations or business reviews

  • Ensure adherence to the company policies on business conduct / ethicss are being obsereved by the entire business unit when servicing clients

  • Monitor the actual financial performance against budget / forecast and ensure the implementation of appropriate actions that will lead to the achievement of the financial targets

  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets as well as other related financial objectives

  • Coach and manage team members by providing support and feedback to achieve their respective goals

  • Ensure alignment of operating systems and processes that will enable the unit to achieve business objectives

 

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

 

  • 6-10 years professional experience in a client-facing role in Media Sales / Research, Business, Analytics or Consulting

  • Experience with Local Media Products

  • Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies 

  • Experience in managing a team 

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple demands and projects simultaneously #LI-JS2
