Senior Software Engineer, Resonance (Remote OK)

 

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Resonance team.

The Resonance suite of products utilize survey based datasets to measure, analyze, and report on Advertisement effectiveness.

As a senior engineer on our team, you’ll have a lead role in building systems to extract insights from our  datasets. You’ll have the opportunity to work on data pipelines, web applications and dashboarding solutions; as well as some of the supporting infrastructure.

We are an agile team that work directly with product owners and collaborate with Data Scientists and Business Intelligence Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and design new components.

  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to implement, test and deploy features.

  • Mentor junior developers and conduct occasional training sessions.

  • Perform code reviews.

  • Build and maintain development environments and CI/CD workflows.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years with mainstream programming languages (Python, C++, C, Java, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of programming concepts and  paradigms.

  • Experience designing system components from requirements.

  • Experience with SQL and relational database systems.

  • Experience writing automated  tests.

  • Experience with version control systems.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Experience working in Cloud environments.

  • Experience working in an agile environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  •  MS in Computer Science or related field.

  •  4+ years Python programming experience.

  •  Full Stack development experience.

  •  Experience with popular AWS services (S3, RDS, EC2, etc.).

  •  Experience leading and mentoring developers.

  •  Experience with popular developer tools (Git, Docker, Github/Gitlab).

  •  Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

  •  Familiarity with big data processing tools such as Spark, EMR, Presto.
