SIP Manager – 111022

Operations – USA Offsite, Offsite 

 

The SIP Manager will collaborate within a cross-functional global business team leading the Nielsen global SIP program and manage a team responsible for administration of the global Sales Incentive Plans. The SIP Manager is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Nielsen SAP Callidus application, supporting our SIP program, including the vendor and contractor relationships surrounding the application. The role will also work to drive global standardization of SIP administration in consideration of global strategies. The SIP Manager will collaborate and develop business plans to increase automation and systematic alignment across finance systems and ensure timely and reliable completion of changes/improvements. The role will own change requests, enhancements and resolve defects in Callidus. The SIP manager will lead the SIP administration team across all plan payment and participant requirements including participant records, plan structures, participant letters, coordination with stakeholders for payout requirements and reporting of SIP.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead team to support and execute  timely, accurate global end to end SIP administration process 
  • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of quarterly incentive payment data for global participants 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Nielsen’s incentive plans, sales teams, and systems / applications (i.e. SAP and Salesforce) to optimize SIP administration 
  • Support cross-functional team of Finance, HR, Compensation & Commercial stakeholders responsible for the global sales incentive plan program and optimize plan administration 
  • Lead the end to end Callidus administration, improvements and maintenance including a global roadmap for continuous enhancements 
  • Drive continuous SIP process automation for efficiencies, accuracy and data insights 
  • Test and validate configuration changes and modify Plan rules in CallidusCommissions as necessary
  • Train end users on Callidus functionality & drive reports and dashboards development and deployment 
  • Serve as Callidus SME to troubleshoot and resolve issues or system errors
  • Ensure processes align to maintain timely and accurate participant records for all employment changes
  • Ensure team creates, maintains and publishes global processes/documentation in a central playbook
  • Support Finance with cost modeling, accruals and other reports/analyses as requested 

 

Requirements

  • Lead and develop team to support evolving and transformative SIP administration processes 
  • Strong communication skills and abilities across all levels of the organization
  • Strong Google Workspace and Excel experience 
  • Highly organized and proactive at keeping records and documentation
  • Ability to work well across multiple global cross functional roles 
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and direction of others
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and effectively manage multiple work streams in parallel 
  • Ability to streamline and simplify complexity
  • Background and Technical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with incentive management tools such as CallidusCommission or Xactly 
  • Experience in applications such as SAP and Salesforce, a plus 
  • Experience in related industries include: Sales Operations, Finance, HR, Compensation a plus
