Jakarta, 09 March 2020 – Nielsen, the global data measurement and analysis research company, appointed Indrasena ‘Dede’ Patmawidjaja as the new Managing Director of Nielsen Connect in Indonesia, as the successor of. Agus Nurudin, who decided to leave the company at the end of March 2020. Dede and Agus are currently working together to ensure a smooth leadership transition for Nielsen Connect Indonesia. Under Agus’ leadership since mid 2014, Nielsen in Indonesia has been experiencing a significant business growth.
Dede is a commercial veteran in the FMCG industry. Prior to joining Nielsen, Dede has long experience with Nestle, the leading global FMCG company. His last position at Nestle was Business Executive Officer which he held since 2013 and was his second tenure at Nestle, having previously worked at the company from 1998 to 2011, including three years in Nestle Switzerland where he was responsible to manage Premium Chocolate Marketing. In between his service at Nestle, Dede also had the experience of working with Castrol and ISS Indonesia. .

In addition to the long experience in the commercial and FMCG industry, Dede also has a strong educational background in research and management studies. He is a graduate of Baruch College, CUNY, New York United States, with a BBA in Operations Research, and attended the Executive Development Program at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2005.
