Sameer Shukla leads the West Market for Nielsen in South Asia. In his earlier roles, Sameer has managed the Retail Measurement Services for South Asia, Nielsen business in Nepal and has led GfK-Nielsen joint venture in India. He has also played a strategic business partner role for PepsiCo, Nestle, Glaxo SmithKline, and Dabur India at different points in time.
In his career spanning more than 20 years, clients from across industries including FMCG and consumer durables, have sought his expertise in shaping their strategies and creating an impact for their business. He has also worked extensively on policy/ strategy formulations to micro-level insights with Government Bodies, UN organisations and International NGOs.
Sameer did his graduation degree in statistics and anthropology and a post-graduation in management. He has also completed the ‘Principles of Marketing Research’ course from the University of Georgia and is an Executive Black Belt in Business Process Improvement.
