Nielsen, a leading global provider of information and insights into what consumers watch and buy, announced the appointment of Andy Huang to the position of managing director, Nielsen Taiwan, with responsibility for all of Nielsen’s business activities in Taiwan. Huang reports to Yan Xuan, president of Nielsen Greater China.
“A veteran of the retail and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries, Andy brings to Nielsen a wealth of FMCG industry knowledge and expertise as well as a successful record of developing leaders and achieving revenue and profit growth,” said Xuan. “This important appointment reflects Nielsen’s commitment to the Taiwan market to provide integrated services to both international and local clients to drive their success.”

Prior to joining Nielsen, Andy was the vice president of the food, beverage and oil Group of Taisun and Swire Coca-Cola’s bottler businesses in both Taiwan and mainland China, progressively taking on more responsibilities and leading bigger teams and markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Russian language and an executive MBA from Taiwan’s Cheng-Chi University.
