Primetime Broadcast Ratings July 22, 2008
NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” claimed the top slot by an unusually wide margin in Nielsen’s ranking of primetime broadcast TV programs for July 22, 2008. The show drew an audience of 13.2 million viewers Tuesday night.
ABC’s “Wipeout” and CBS’s “NCIS” came in second and third, respectively, with 9.9 million viewers and 8.5 million viewers each.

Overall, NBC won the night — with an average audience of 9,074,000 viewers, while ABC took second place with 7,442,000 average viewers. CBS came in third with 6,764,000 viewers. FOX and Univision trailed distantly in fourth and fifth places — with 4,478,000 and 4,078,000 average viewers, respectively.
