NBC’s “Dateline” was sandwiched between the two, in second place. The network’s back-to-back telecasts of “Most Outrageous Moments,” which claimed the 6th and 9th spots, also made the top ten.

Overall, FOX won the night with an average audience of 7,901,000 viewers, while CBS took second place with 6,780,000 average viewers. ABC and NBC claimed distant third and fourth places — with 4,053,000 and 3,899,000 average viewers, respectively — while Unvision came in a close fifth with an average audience of 3,717,000.
