When Nielsen examined the approaches of 100 top-growing companies in the U.S., for example, it found that a select group was growing in a slightly different way than the rest. And the innovation strategies at work within those companies actually helped them generate half of the revenue growth and three-fourths of the stock price appreciation of the entire list of companies.
