When it comes to consumers’ everyday lives, technology is becoming ever-more important. In many ways, however, financial services providers and traditional banks have been slow to adopt and innovate. Not only has this left them a little behind the eight ball, but it’s opened the doors of opportunity for non-financial firms to step in and fill unmet needs.
